If you never shared your home, yes — the data lived only on that phone. If you did share it, the copy on your partner's phone remains and you can restore it by connecting your new device to theirs.
How many people can share one home?

What happens when a subscription ends?
The app keeps working fully on your phone; only syncing between phones stops. Nothing is locked or deleted.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, completely. Internet is needed only for syncing; when you reconnect, pending changes merge on their own.
